Smoke Rise United Methodist Church is a mainline Methodist Church in the Wesleyan tradition. 
Smoke Rise UMC is a member of the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church. 
Worship Service is typically traditional. 
Occasionally classical church and/or more contemporary music is used as an adjunct to  traditional worship.
Multi-media is also used as an enhancement for the worship experience.
Major Sundays in the church year are of a more formal or "high church" nature.
Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month as well as on special Sundays and special days in the church year.
